Refund Policy

Effective Date: 20 August 2025

At StoryMakerz, we strive to ensure our customers are 100% satisfied with their purchases. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, we’re here to help.

1. Returns

You may return an item within 7 business days of receiving it, provided that:

The item is unused, unworn, and in its original packaging.
All tags, seals, or hygiene stickers are intact (where applicable).
Customised items can only be returned if no approval was obtained from the customer prior to production.
You retain the original proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).

To initiate a return, please email us at sales@storymakerz.co.za with your order number and reason for the return. We will provide you with return instructions.

2. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed within 7–10 business days, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment.

Please note:

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
If the return is due to a defective or incorrect item sent, we will cover return shipping costs.

3. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon delivery. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable:

Gift cards
Downloadable or digital products
Intimate or sanitary goods
Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)
Customised items

5. Consumer Protection Act Compliance

This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (No. 68 of 2008) of South Africa. Consumers have the right to return goods under certain conditions as set out in the Act, including where goods are defective, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
